New Middleweight Beast from Triumph | 2024 Triumph Daytona 660 Unveiled

Triumph's Daytona 660 model features a three-cylinder engine, a result of years of development. This engine configuration seems poised to attract attention with its unique three-cylinder sound, combining the low-end torque of a twin-cylinder with the high-end performance of a four-cylinder motorcycle. With a power of 93.6HP @ 11,250 RPM and a torque of 70Nm, the Daytona 660 aims for a confident entry into the middleweight segment.

Supported by a six-speed transmission and Triumph's Slip-and-Assist clutch, this engine, coupled with an ergonomic design and handlebars positioned slightly higher, appears capable of balancing the necessary feedback for dynamic sport riding while providing sufficient comfort for long journeys. Looking at the front, it combines sharp and aggressive sporty looks with a practical display.

In terms of design, the Daytona 660 includes a lightweight steering that offers a comfortable seating position and easy low-speed control for urban environments.

Triumph's  years of superbike chassis development seem evident in the Daytona 660, promising agility in corners and easy maneuverability at low speeds for city use. Equipped with quality components like Showa suspension, dual front disc brakes with four-piston radial calipers, and ABS, the Daytona 660 appears poised to deliver precise control and effective braking.

Technologically, the Daytona 660 includes ride-by-wire throttle, three riding modes, and traction control system. Its multifunctional colored TFT  display enhances the riding experience with a modern design and compatibility with the My Triumph Connectivity System.

Aesthetically, the unique design reflects Triumph's character. Notable design details, such as the durable and high-quality race-inspired swingarm, stand out when examining the chassis.

The Daytona 660 offers low ownership costs in terms of performance, quality, and usage within its class. The three-cylinder engine, developed with experience from Moto2 racing, combines with low maintenance costs, class-leading 15,000km service intervals, and a two-year unlimited mileage warranty. High resale values further enhance the value offered by this motorcycle, making your next Triumph purchase more accessible.
